For the Victoria, District and Circle lines. It connects with the railway station area, but Tube entrances and platforms are distinct. Use the TfL planner for your onward stop and access requirements.
For long-distance coaches on Buckingham Palace Road. Departures are in the main building at the corner with Elizabeth Street; arrivals use a separate area. Check the location on your operator’s ticket.
Changing between stations? TfL gives approximately 300 metres between the coach station and the railway/Tube station. Allow roughly 10–15 minutes as a practical walking estimate, plus time to find your gate or platform. Luggage, crossings, mobility and the entrance used can add time.

Provide your flight number, Heathrow arrival date and terminal, including the correct date for an overnight flight. Add your passenger and luggage counts, a working mobile number and your exact Victoria destination.
For a hotel, home or business, enter the complete address and postcode. For an onward departure, also tell us your train or coach time. Use the terminal meeting instructions in your booking confirmation; contact us if the flight or terminal changes.
Enter your full collection address or arrange a specific pickup location with our team. Confirm your Heathrow departure terminal with the airline. Work backwards from its check-in and baggage-drop deadlines, adding road travel, a traffic margin, luggage loading and any agreed stops.
If arriving by train or coach first, provide its service details and arrival time. Station collection must use an agreed, permitted stopping point; do not assume a car can wait outside your platform entrance. Each direction is a separate booking and confirmation.
A route planner lists roughly 16 miles (26 km) between Heathrow and London Victoria railway station. The terminal, route and exact address change the distance. For initial planning, allow 60–90 minutes for the road journey; Heathrow advises allowing at least an hour to central London by car. The 60–90-minute range is an editorial allowance, not a measured average or arrival guarantee. Congestion or disruption can take longer. Check a live estimate for your travel time.
Your flight’s scheduled landing time is not the time you will be ready at the kerb. There is no single connection allowance suitable for every passenger. For separately booked tickets, check what happens if you miss your train or coach and whether changes are permitted. Discuss a tight connection before booking.
Look for London Victoria (VIC) on your ticket. Check the operator, destination, date and departure time. Read the departure boards when you arrive; platforms can change. Allow time for ticket collection where required and carry your bags through the station.
Victoria serves Gatwick Airport and Southern routes towards destinations such as Brighton, plus Southeastern routes into Kent, including Gillingham. Check your exact service: the route, stopping pattern and need for changes vary.
For mobility or boarding help, arrange Passenger Assist through National Rail or your train operator. Check the station map and live lift information separately from your car booking.
Check that your ticket actually names Victoria Coach Station. Some services use other London stops. Find the departure gate from the station screens and follow your operator’s check-in and boarding instructions.
TfL advises arriving at least 30 minutes before UK coach departures; follow any longer operator requirement. International journeys may need earlier check-in and travel documents. This station allowance comes after Heathrow arrivals and transfer time.
Check your operator’s suitcase limits, oversized-item rules, wheelchair arrangements and ticket flexibility. Returning to Victoria by coach? Give us the arrival location on your ticket, rather than using the departures entrance automatically.

| Elizabeth line | Travel to Paddington, then change to an onward Underground service for Victoria. | Serves Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, 4 and 5. Allow time to walk between platforms and check the final route in TfL’s planner. |
| Heathrow Express | Travel to Paddington, then use an onward Underground connection to Victoria. | Serves Terminals 2 & 3 and 5; Terminal 4 requires a terminal rail transfer. Include interchange and terminal access time. |
| Coach | Heathrow lists coach services to Victoria Coach Station, including National Express. | Check the booked Heathrow stop and terminal served, luggage allowance and departure time. Add a walk if your destination is the railway station. |
Heathrow has shared stations for Terminals 2 & 3 and separate stations at Terminals 4 and 5. Most T2/T3 coaches use Central Bus Station; check your ticket for T4/T5 stops and any required transfer.

A useful stop for seeing the palace exterior and its setting. Entering the State Rooms or joining a tour is a separate, ticketed visit on selected dates, not a year-round walk-in attraction. Check Royal Collection Trust availability before planning around an interior visit.

A working Catholic cathedral on Victoria Street, distinct from Westminster Abbey. The cathedral is free to enter and open daily; check the current schedule and respect worship. Tower visits have separate arrangements and tickets.
At 17 Wilton Road, close to the railway station. A practical choice for an evening performance if staying locally. Check the current programme, age guidance, access arrangements and ticket availability directly; do not schedule a show too tightly after your flight.
